FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March 19, 2007
WORKSHOP IN CHICAGO PROVIDES BASICS OF DAILY
MONEY MANAGEMENT BUSINESS
The American Association of Daily Money Managers
(AADMM) will hold a “Daily Money Management Business Basics”
workshop on Saturday, May 5 at the Four Points Sheraton - Chicago
O'Hare, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is the only time in 2007
when the workshop will be presented in the Midwest and almost 60
people attended the Chicago session in 2006.
The workshop is designed both for those who are
considering Daily Money Management as a career, as well as for
existing daily money managers (DMMs) who want to refresh their
skills. It will explain the professional work of DMMs, identify
traits and skills which lead to success in the profession, and help
attendees learn to build a client base and create a successful
business. Specifics on operating your own business, including fees,
pricing and billing practices will be discussed.
AADMM President John Bowen from Falls Church, Va,
notes the 2006 workshop received rave reviews, recalling that one
Chicago participant said: “I want to thank all those at the AADMM
who contributed to the conference. As a non-member I found the
experience to far exceed my expectations. The information provided,
the formal, the panel of expertise, and the dynamics among the
attendees were outstanding.”
Faculty for the workshop include:
Gloria S. Froman, Let Me Get The Bill, Inc., Skokie,
Illinois. She has over 20 years experience in financial accounts
management, and established her practice to provide solutions and
the healthy maintenance of financial and paperwork activities.
Mindy Luebke, Paperwork Assistants, Inc, Arlington
Heights, Illinois. She has progressively challenging and diverse
experience with public and privately-held companies across multiple
industries and her professional background includes auditing,
general accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Marcia Turner, Y.E.A., LLC, North Branford,
Connecticut. She established her daily money management business in
1996 after a 22-year career in retail bank management.
The workshop is being offered in 2007 at a rate of
$240 for members of AADMM and $275 for non-members. Non-members that
subsequently join AADMM within a month of the workshop receive a $25
discount on the membership fee. The fee includes the course, a
complete training manual, a networking lunch and refreshment breaks.
The hotel is conveniently located just minutes from O'Hare
International Airport.
More detailed information on the program and
registration material can be found at AADMM’s website, www.AADMM.com.
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Deadline for the special AADMM rate at the conference hotel is April
13.
